In the heart of Chianti, Montagliari preserves the charm of an ancient medieval past. Here stood the castle of the noble Gherardini family, destroyed by the Florentines in 1302. The same family included Lisa Gherardini, Leonardo da Vinci’s famous Mona Lisa.
In this evocative area, amid history, nature and Tuscan traditions, Casa Mezzomonte is located.
We love sharing local traditions and flavors, offering by reservation breakfasts, typical dinners, cooking classes and experiences to discover Chianti.
